What we hold, and why.

This site is operated by VIHA, registered at [TO BE COMPLETED] (“VIHA COLLECTIVE”, “we”). We decide why and how your personal data is handled, which makes us the data fiduciary for it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

When you send an enquiry: your name, email address and the message you write. That is the only personal data this site asks anyone for. You choose what to put in the message — please don't include anything sensitive you would not want held in an email.

There are no accounts on this site, nothing to buy through it, and no payment of any kind. We never ask for a password, a delivery address or card details, and there is nowhere on these pages to give them.

We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking on this site. There is no third-party pixel, no profiling, and no automated decision-making about you.

This site sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for us. Everything it remembers is kept by your own browser, never sent to us, and is not personal data to anyone:

• viha:theme — whether you chose the light or dark view.
• kleos:recently-viewed:v1 — which pieces you last looked at, to offer a way back to them.
• A short-lived note that the storefront entry has already played, so it doesn't replay on every page you open.

Because none of that is a cookie and none of it reaches us, there is nothing for you to consent to and no cookie banner to dismiss. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.

To read your enquiry and write back to you. That is the whole of it. We will not repurpose your data for marketing without asking you first, in a way you can decline and later withdraw.

We keep the list of processors short and name them here rather than hiding them behind “trusted partners”:

• Vercel — hosting. It processes the ordinary request logs any web server keeps, including IP address, for security and reliability.
• Resend — delivers your enquiry to the studio inbox as an email. It handles the name, address and message you typed, and nothing else.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.

Enquiries live in the studio's email inbox for up to two years, so we can pick up a conversation you started. There is no database behind this site and no other copy of what you sent. Ask us to erase something sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you, and why;
• correct anything wrong or incomplete;
• erase what we no longer need to keep;
• withdraw a consent you previously gave;
• nominate someone to exercise these rights if you cannot.

This site is meant for adults buying furniture. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their data, write to us and we will remove it.

If we change how we handle your data, we will change this page and move the date at the top. Where a change is significant and we hold your contact details, we will tell you directly rather than relying on you noticing.
